Kryptonite baby!

Braden has a new blanket because he has a high Bilirubin count in his blood. His skin is yellow and we are fixing it with this UV blanket. He should have it for about five days. We have faith and are praying that he will be ok.

Congratulations! It sounds like the delivery went smoothly and things are going pretty well. That bili blanket is neat-I've never seen those before. I'm glad Braden is able to stay at home and still be treated. Take care.

Jordan had Jaundice also. I remember that he had to sleep in a suitcase for a couple weeks because his biliruben was to high. I am glad that he can be home with you and have his mommy take care of him. I hope everything else is going good. I love you and love Braden also. Give him a kiss for me!

Congratulations Brandi! I am so, so happy for you (that Braden's here, not that he has jaundice)! Bekah and Jacob both had jaundice, and Bekah had to have the blanket...we realized after a couple of hours of her wrapped up in that that it made her poop...a ton! I still remember Rus saying, "I can't do it anymore!" after changing the sixth poopy diaper in a row. I'm glad Braden's bilirubin count is going down. I know that can be a stressful time. Have fun enjoying every happy newborn moment!

I was yellow for the first couple weeks of my life...now I am a pale green. He should be fine! Cool blanket though...at least he is not in the hospital, right? Oh, my prayers are with you!

Congrats! He is adorable. I hate when they get jaundice so bad. I hope all is well now. Please let me know if you need anything.
